Zahara Lite — How It Works

What is Zahara Lite?

Zahara Lite is a free, browser-based Purchase Order generator. Fill in your company details and line items, then instantly preview, download a PDF, or email the PO directly to your supplier — no accounting software required.

How It Works

  1. 1 Fill in your details — company name, PO number, date, and supplier information.
  2. 2 Add line items — each with a quantity, description, unit price, and tax rate. Totals calculate automatically.
  3. 3 Preview your PO in an A4 view to check everything looks right.
  4. 4 Download as PDF or email it directly to your supplier from this page.
  5. 5 Upgrade for saved suppliers, PO history, your logo, and brand colours on every document.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an account to use this?

No. You can create, preview, and download a PO immediately without signing up. An account unlocks saved settings and more line items.

Is my data stored anywhere?

For unregistered users, nothing is stored — your PO data only exists in the browser during your session. Registered users' company details are saved securely in our database.

Can I add my company logo?

Yes — with a Pro subscription. Upload your logo in Account Settings and it will appear on all your generated POs and PDFs.

What currencies are supported?

GBP (£), USD ($), AUD ($), NZD ($), CAD ($), and EUR (€) are all supported. Simply select your currency from the dropdown on the PO form.

How is the PDF generated?

PDFs are generated server-side from your PO data and delivered to your browser as a download. They are not stored on our servers.

Can I customise the PO appearance?

Registered (free) users can choose and save one of 10 preset colours in Account Settings — it is applied to the header, table, and totals on every PO they create.

Pro users can additionally set any custom hex colour and upload a company logo which appears on all generated documents.
